The construction business of Asia Allied Infrastructure is mainly operated by Chun Wo Construction Holdings Company Limited, a subsidiary of Chun Wo Development Holdings Limited, which is a core member of the AAI family. Chun Wo has had its roots in Hong Kong since1968, mainly undertaking government and private sector construction projects at the beginning. In the 70’s and 80’s, Chun Wo grew rapidly together with Hong Kong. Apart from marine construction, waterworks and site formation projects, Chun Wo expanded its business scope to cover also railway related construction and civil engineering projects. By the 90‘s, it became one of the few local contractors to hold five types of registration and qualification to work on public projects. And, at the same time, , it also took on building construction and civil engineering projects in mainland China and markets in Asia including Macau, Taiwan, Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates.


Today Chun Wo stands as a unique and leading enterprise in the construction industry in Hong Kong. It prides itself on having the professional capabilities to take on mega-size integrated construction projects. The recent large -scale infrastructure projects in Hong Kong, which it involved or is involving in included the Central-Wanchai Bypass, Liantang/Heung Yuen Wai Boundary infrastructure facilities, the Hong Kong - Zhuhai - Macao Bridge Passenger Clearance Building, the Guangzhou-Shenzhen- Hong Kong Express Rail Link (Hong Kong Section)_and MTR Shatin to Central Link etc.
